Not that it's impossible, but how did that happen with whites outnumbering blacks by such a wide margin?

If that trend keeps up republicans are in trouble as Hispanic and Asian votes are up as well.

Although around here Asians vote republican.

I hate to be that guy but could you support the link? I saw this earlier as well and read it before. It's just that I'm on the phone. Don't really feel like searching it.

First time since 1968 this has happened.

Wait, what?

Please explain. Surely, there were not more blacks that voted than whites in 2012, right? Is it simply that out of the total number of eligible African-American voters, a higher percentage voted than did the percentage of white voters from the pool of eligible white voters?

It's by percentages of eligible voters. 66% of eligible blacks voted vs 64% of crackers.

So 64% of 12% of the population voted while 64% of 78% of the population voted. Yeah..not even close. Those numbers will drop way off once there isn't a black guy to vote for anyways.

Just imagine how many more would have voted had racist republicans not been successful in passing voter ID laws.

What tv stations do white people watch? Always commercials on voting on television stations watched by younger more urban voters.

By around here to you mean everywhere? I've never met one who didnt. Per capita Asians have the highest average incomes and are the best educated so why would they ever vote Democrat?

White people watch all of them, we invented TV. 1968 got a bump because of Civil Rights legislation from 68. 2012 got the bump because it was the last time most of them will vote.
