It would be nice if a larger number of black men took responsibility for their actions, certainly.

Eliminating the War on Drugs would be a good first step in producing the proper pyschocultural setting for that to occur.

You're right on both accounts. Black men have been let off the hook by our government for decades with regards to parenting expectations. It's ingrained culturally now, you know there's a problem when there's no shame in referring to the father of child as the "baby daddy."

They regret someone else was taking cell footage and uploaded the entire racist diatribe that the sister unloaded without them knowing.

They regret they got caught being disingenuous and lying to the public.

I wonder if this is the voice white people need to shut up and listen to? The black folks I work with are supremely embarrassed by her and how urban communities have conducted themselves lately.

Emmett Till was like 60 years ago. Was Eisenhower supposed to go on radio, and make an address? There were very few TV's at that time.

Rodney King was trying to outrun the police, because he was worried about going back to jail for previous convictions. That was 25 years ago. Have anything more recent, sir? Thank you.

Shirley, you can't be serious. A national radio broadcast for one no name person getting killed in Mississippi. I never heard of him until just a few years ago.

That would be like the President coming out this week, and commenting on the good Samaritan getting killed by the 2 guys he pulled out of the ditch.
