Said it best on the air. "UT has as much talent as any in the league, but for some reason they are not progressing at the rate as the other teams in the league"

I guess that sums up the season and the last few years.

nailed that right on the head.....I just thought about it, but think how good EB would be with a good coach. wow.

BS...not Alabama, FL, LSU, GA, AUB, etc. would exchange teams with us. They might exchange individual players, but not entire teams. It may partially due to some coaching, but mostly our laughing players getting their a$$e$ kicked! They are not dedicated and those recruited dod not "bleed orange". We've got some really talented people, but as a whole...not enough to win against the schools listed above.

one of the all time great idiotic statements often made on this board that has absolutely zero bearing on the outcome of football games.

I agree that UT has had as much talent as anyone else over the last few years...however, our lack of qb experience and poor coaching is killing us.

How do you blame Stephens, at all? Have you seen our OL play? Manning or Brady would struggle.

Did you see the passes to the wrong shoulder? Did you see the huge overthrows? It's time for Stephens to step it up.

I never thought I'd say it, but would it have been terrible to toss crompton in the game at the end to see if he's gotten the message?

He wasn't perfect, but his WRs, minus Jones, have not helped much and the blocking has been bad and horrible at times.

while stephens didn't look very good tonight, I did like the passion he showed a couple of times throughout the game, passion that a lot of our players lack

yes it would have been terrible to see crompton again.

we don't have the same level of talent this year but in past years, we were as talented as anyone and we still don't have anything to show for the last ten years.

Care to explain? You must see a different talent level than I do. "Great" and "zero" are profound statements.

There were receivers and backs out of the backfield running open all night that Nick didn't find. Of course he's young but Manning and Brady would've found them.

I personally thinks Stephens could be a player if he could get WR's that could actually run a route.

I LOVE his fire.

We need to develop receivers, just as it is in the NFL WR's are notorious for being busts. What we really need is a couple of guys with wheels and decent hands.

I wasn't at the game, so I wasn't able to see them running open, but the announcers said Bama's coverage was just that good.
