Black would be cool for football.

The Halloween team coached by the Great Pumpkin.

FWIW - UT has the best baseball uni's out there - the black & combo jerseys are SWEET.

I read this and thought "Hey...its May!"

Once the freshmen show up, it'll ramp up my excitement even more. Then the week of our first game, I'll shift from being excited to being nervous. Cant wait!

That sounds insanely hideous. Our uniforms are fine. There's no reason to change anything. You might be able to get a bit creative with the basketball uniforms, but adding any black to the football uniforms is going to look really stupid.

For me, it's hard to say unless I can see it, but after touching this jersey up a little, I can see it lookin' pretty cool sometimes. Not too 'loud' or 'look-at-me' like the Miami eye-candy jerseys; still pretty simple yet tough! :yes:

You did a good job editing the photo. It still looks very ugly, though. It's just a bad idea.

how about this... all orange jerseys with orange pants and orange helmet with white numbers on the jersey and orange stripes going across the numbers... im pretty sure that wouldnt look too good, but i just cant get enough of that ORANGE!!!

basketball only for the black, somebody had a link to some all black b-ball jerseys that were for sale on some site and they looked wicked. I really loved the orange shoulders in football a few years ago, but I think the NCAA had a problem with it.

there was a movie call School Ties and in it one footnall team wore jerseys that had the shoulders colored like that, but they had stripes in them. If you've seen the movie you may know what Im talking about, I thought it was very cool and unique.

Basketball...maybe

It worked for us in hockey a few years ago (see jersey pics), but only because we all had black helmets and hockey pants -- they don't make white hockey pants. We have since ditched the black trim on the orange jerseys in favor of throwback jerseys from 1966 (see game pic). Sorry, we dont' have any jerseys for sale yet.
