What i would like best is more orange..
especially on the aways jersey.. There is hardly any orange on them.. they basically look all white..
but yeah, i wouldnt mind a LITTLE black.. but only on the away jerseys.. just a little trimming of it here and there.. not too much tho..

Agreed. White helmets with Halloween-style black and orange uniforms? Yuck.

I would't care if the basketball team wore black unis occasionally. But it would look awful for the football team to do it. What are we, South Carolina?

Not to mention that black is a really bad color to be wearing on a football uniform during a day game in September.

I was at Williams-Brice Stadium the last time they wore all black against UGA. It looked sort of neat until everybody realized "Hey, it's 3 o'clock in the afternoon and it's 90 degrees. What were we thinking?!" By the 3rd quarter, I think even the stadium ushers had leg cramps.

Everybody always brings up black. I'd rather see something like gray or silver if we were going to add an accent color.

When you're South Carolina you can just draw up new uniforms every few years according to what you think is fashionable at the moment, because you don't actually have any real football history. You might as well be wearing Arena League uniforms. When you're Tennessee, you shouldn't be eager to monkey around with decades of tradition just because something looks "nasty."

I wouldn't mind seeing Tennessee bring out Jerseys like these on a Special Occasion, Instead of the Maroon have it be Orange, and the Sleeve, make it white.

OK, I'm not defending South Carolina, but...the all black uniforms were from the 80's...so it is history...

I see we've reached the "What do you think about black uniforms?" portion of the offseason. Cool, it's getting closer. :rock2:
