You sir are 100% correct as someone who is about the same age as these most on the team at 24 . And the black uni do excite the team and the fans . Drunken talks all he wants about wins but this helps us with our home field advantage :banghead2: and if we could start a tradition like the one mentioned above it would be great. I live in SC and you dont know how good it was to see my boys in those all black uni that night and Neyland rocking . I ready to sign up for a class :loco:

The point is, the color of your jerseys have nothing to do with the outcome of the game.

FWIW, changing to black jerseys for one home game WILL NOT bring in 2-3 top recruits. Dumbazz notion of the day.

I don't see Dooley going along with a gimmick started by Lane Kiffin. It may have worked in getting the team pumped up that once, but I just don't see it happening.

sorry for the double post you guys im at work but . It just the energy that you play with . It call the momentum . Coming out in those jersey and the fans to match you have it from the start it can complete shell shock a visting team which happend to SC last time . :mf_surrender: I've been on both sides on this equation playing multple sports. :crossfingers:

You really think Neyland is what it used to be? I havent heard Neyland get as loud as it should be since the winning FG vs FL in 04.

The whole game my ears were ringing.

If this hasnt been planned for a while, it WONT happen. Thats why Kiffin got those fugly champion jerseys cause it was last minute and Adidas couldnt hook us up with jerseys that would have looked good. I'm sure black helmets would take even longer to get then jerseys would.

It can have an impact on the crowd and the mental state that the players are in. It pumped them up in 09 and so far you haven't backed up your points

Black jerseys worked when we played the game on Halloween night. It was a fun time in Neyland stadium. There's nothing wrong with having fun at a game, and that particular time the players had a good chance to win the game, which they did. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the jerseys that night.

But they need to stay locked up. One and done. :)

First off I am tried of people saying that our colors are orange and white and that is all that we need.. Guess what times they are a changing and if the PLAYERS want to add something new to help them get up so be it!! If it helps to get 5 star talent do it!! My heart bleed orange and white. If they came out in pink it would not change that. It is what is in your heart not the color of a uniform!! Hell if all black or any color for that matter helps us win I am for it!!! GO VOLS VFL!!
