The black jersey don't look good with the orange and white helmet, so we need a black helmet. But then they don't look right with white and orange britches, so we need black britches too. But now those white and orange cleats that we wanted so badly don't look good with the all black uniforms, so we need the black cleats....did we already throw them away? Hell, buy new ones, we got plenty of money and it's important that we have different color uniforms and errthang matches.

Honesty isn't very popular on this board. If you just blindly carry water for all the lame stuff our program has turned into you're a fan favorite here. It is what it is.

Nobody likes the old school fans who respect our program and hate to see what its turned into. The blueprint for success has been laid out by multiple coaches here. Gimmicks have never been part of that. Thats what always made us stand apart from the teams who had no tradition and had to do lame stuff to try to be relevant. Now were the team doing that while Alabama always stayed the course and never lost its respect. Were not respected by anyone anymore and it only took 12 years to make that happen. Thats the truth whether it warms your heart or not. We used to be considered a blue blood in this sport, now we've resorted to hiring staffs nobody else wanted and gimmicks to distract from the embarrassing state of the program.
