well i didn't like the look at all,but if UT keeps them for Halloween night games ,that is ok with me,I just thought that was a ugly looking uniform and no it won't matter to me how they can use black in the uniforms,it is just ugly looking to me

I susspect that most people liking the black jersey are the younger set, not orriginally from Tennessee and learning to appreciate our traditions very well. the greatest victories from Neyland on down were won in the Tennessee orange and white !

I would like to see black jerseys but i would rather have it more complex ... it kinda looked like a jersey you bought from wal-mart.. But yeah that would be pretty cool if they done that.. it would be exciting..

They are selling the BLACK vols jersey at the Rocky Top here in Cleveland for 40 bucks..I bought mine a couple of weeks ago!!!!
Hell yeah,,,,,ALL BLACK ON NEW YEARS EVE!!!!!!

Tennessee orange is the classiest color in NCAA football. . .we don't need any black like everyone else thinks they do! :)

I'm 41 born and raised in CLEVELAND TENNESSEE , been watching the VOLS scene I was a kid and LOVED the Black.

and it is the "younger set" that Lane is recruiting....not a lot if 50 and 60 year old freshmen out there willing to play collage football these days.

Some people on here can never say anything to their wives about "fashion" talks ever again. Something tells me coaches like Neyland and Bear would get a big laugh over discussing uniform colors.
