Black Friday here I come!!!! I can't wait! I look forward to this day. My mom, 2 aunts, grandmother and cousin all get out and shop the day after. Kohl's is the first place we go and we are usually there at 3:30 (no later) By 9 or 9:30 we are ready for lunch!!!

Are you a female or a gay male? Your screen name is gender neutral, that's why I don't know.

In 2001 my mom convinced my father to go shopping on black friday. It was raining and they were standing in line outside of toys r us (I've still not figured out why as there were no kids to buy for). The local tv station was there and as the cameraguy got near them my dad told my mom to turn around at let the umbrella block them from the camera. When she asked him why he said that he didn't want anyone to see them there and realize how stupid they were.

This story best explains my feelings about black friday.

I hate shopping, I hate women shopping, and I hate crowded stores. That said, I need an extra dvd recorder. Where is the cheapest place to buy one tomorrow?

Costco is great for tvs. I got a 37 inch vizeo there 4 or five years ago and its been great.

I know people on here don't say great things about vizeo, but i like them.

Sounds like the makings of a good deal. I'm in the market for a new bedroom screen myself. The 27" tube is past due for replacement.

i have to be honest, it's long past time to get rid of the TV in the bedroom..
It's a 22 inch Panasonic, I've had for 27 years..
It's alway been a second or third TV, so I don't use it alot, but the sounds finally going out

I finally convinced my wife to upgrade the TV in the bedroom last year. We picked up a 42" plasma last year on Black Friday. Best day of my life.

I looked at the Sony it's $378.00 and decided to save the $100.00 bucks.
I really only watch it about an hour in the morning

Walmart was such a bad idea lol. I live in a small town and didn't think it would be bad, I was WRONG!

It can sometimes be worse..no other places to which to pull the people who are looking for a deal. Although, I think it just sucks everywhere.

WalMart around here would be horrible...there are only 1 or 2, so for people that like their sales, no way to spread it out.

I can understand getting at a store maybe 2 or 3 hrs early for a deal but to camp out on the sidewalk of a retail store for over a day is just moronic.
