I said in a different thread and I'll say it again, coach EO is not a good HC. Give it time he'll show it and LSU will fire him. He's been very lucky thus far. I think they beat Bama. But in a few years he will screw it up. High school kids mostly can't think long term and LSU is hot right now. Easy to recruit to LSU, but CEO will not last long term.

Lol. Coach O was not a good coach at Ole Miss and has shown thru two different interim jobs and now a full time job he has actually grown and matured as a head coach and gotten better. You don’t luck your way into those three instances considering where you started as a head coach at Ole Miss.

Hey though, anything to hate on someone though. I’m sure you could obviously do better though right?

The other poster's qualifications don't really have anything to do with how good a coach EO is. I do agree that he's improved but I'm not convinced he's an upgrade over what they had in Miles.

The difference in Coach O now is who he has surrounded himself with. When those folks move on to other jobs, as they climb the coaching chain, his challenge will be finding suitable replacements. If he's successful at that, he'll have continued success on the field. He made good hires. The question is, did he get lucky or did he know what he was doing? Time will tell.

Maybe LSU is undefeated right now and that influenced his decision a bit? Even if they lose to Bama they've got a pretty good chance of getting in the CFB Playoff. Hard to recruit against that.

Dave Aranda could have any job He wanted in the country over last 4 years and stayed put.....

LSU hasn’t exactly hired top names at the OC position either and have done well. LSU will always be able to hire top coordinators in the country. Coach O had Matt Canada and saw he wasn’t what he needed and let him go.

To say that Coach O is somehow lucky because of his current standing is downright dumb. But this is the VOL mentality. When you suck, you suck. When you’re good, you’re obviously lucky.

Never said nor in any way implied I would or could do better. I just don't think CEO is a good HC, I stand by that. Who would you rather have coaching the Vols, EO or our current coach? I know I would take CJP every day and twice on Saturday.

Did I say he was lucky? I simply said that's the question. Reading comprehension is your friend. I made no judgement, simply stated time will tell if he's just lucky or good.

Why are you so defensive of an opposing team's HC? And not just any coach, but one that once tried to screw over our football team? Assuming you're a Vol fan, of course.

Ah big person who dwells on the past day in and day out? Feel sorry for you that you are still irked about something that someone did a decade ago in a program and team that has zero impact on your day to day life outside of entertainment.

You should get a hobby or a dog or go outside more. You have hurt feelings by Coach O from stuff in 2010...... lmao

Seriously, I'm not sure who placed that stick up your ass, but maybe you should take your Ogre love to an LSU board. Vol fans don't really give a damn. You think he's a good coach? Fine. You're entitled to that opinion. Others don't think he's a good coach. They're entitled to their opinion as well. I simply said time will tell and you get your panties twisted.
