I heard rumors that he was going to be moved up to a 4 star by rivals on monday. I haven't seen that happen. Anyone know anything?

I don't know when they are updating the rankings. He will move up some but he has like 8 QBs to jump to get into 4* which is quite a jump.

Coleman has impressed but enough to get 4th star? I doubt it. Tho he is a steal in this class.

did anyone see Coleman play this year, did McCaile play at Alcoa or was the game in Chattanoogans?

All ive heard was that this kid is very good, i here Cutcliffe talking very good about this kid. If Cutcliffe sees somthing in him, then i believe he is a good QB. And with Cutcliffe coaching i would say this kid is gonna be a good one. With Crompton here, unless Coleman redshirts he wont see the field until his junior SEASON.

I have seen the kid play. He already looks off the primary reciever and goes to 2nd or 3rd choices. He has some work to do in terms of steps and footing but he DID NOT look at the reciever he was going to throw it to from snap to throw which is HUGE for a highschool quarterback. Cut has seen some of the best so if he says he likes him, then I do too.

He looked good in the highlights I saw on the news. He could use a few more lbs. and muscle but not much. It didn't hurt that he had two talented receivers to work with either. McCallie wound up playing 9 teams this year that made the playoffs and two of those (Brentwood Acad. and Alcoa) won state championships. I think they beat four teams that were ranked #1 at the time, including their first meeting with BA.

Will he pass Stephens?

It sounded like Stephens had a good chance to really push Crompton after Ainge is done.

I really like Nick, haven't seen much of BJ but i like what i hear, but after the play where Cromp leveled Chevis Jackson on a scramble, i really like the kid.

Stephens supposedly has a "special" arm. Stronger than Ainge, but more accurate. The problem is his footwork but the coaches have bragged on his progression.

not bad for the kid from Flower Mound....considering he missed a year of game-time in high school due to a transfer
