BJ Coleman (Merged)

If he wanted to leave that's fine, I'm not mad at all. If he wasn't happy being a Volunteer or about his situation then no one should have a problem with that.

another Fail. Im racking up today.

Well, in Mustain's case, he really should have been the guy, even if it was in most part due to McJones. Casey Dick is a terrible, terrible QB.

This is definitely not a reason to start calling out the sky is falling. He is an average player at best. We would not get where we want to go with BJ as qb for next three years so it's probably better for all concerned.

Mostly agree with this. But there are a lot of similarities between Mustain and Coleman as far as how felt entitled and simply quit.

Casey Dick won 3 games last year... Mustain started 8 and won 8 at Arkansas.

He also had a worse INT per attempt ratio than Dick. When your job is to not get in the way of the two studs in your backfield, it's not that hard to win games. Also, look at the 8 teams they beat with Mustain. Not exactly impressive.

And the 3 teams they beat last year were impressive? Winning is a QB's main duty. He won. To say Dick did more last year than Mustain ever has is just plain wrong.

Did I say he was more impressive? He was a key part of the Arkansas offense, something Mitch never was and never will be.

Willie Miles was a member of the 98 NC Vols. I'd still say that Jason Allen was a much better DB, despite his 5-6 senior season.

So you're saying as a player Dick would rather be a key part of an offense that helps Arkansas win 3 games, or a cog in an offense that helps Arkansas win 8 (out of 8)?

When I think Casey Dick, I think of this picture..................

Moore_Goode_Dick.ashx

I think you're using the term "help" very loosely. On third and long plays Arkansas would have to come up with some crap like having a small guy hide behind the offensive line before the play instead of just passing the damn ball.
