People that make snap decisions about someone's character based solely on appearance maybe what most people do, but it tells you nothing about a person's character. I prefer to judge people based on actions. Hell, I guess Jerry Rice is a thug because he had dreads... so is LeBron James with all of his tats. Ken Lay, Madoff, Skilling and the rest are good guys because they dress the part, I suppose...

Matt Barkley signed with USC while they had Mitch Mustain (rising junior) and Aaron Corp (rising sophomore), played the spring and is now 2nd on the list.

The kind of QB we want to recruit wouldn't think twice about signing with a team that had JC, BJ, or NS--no matter how many years of seniority or playing time they had.

If you dont think you will ever play because of the likes of Jon Crompton and Nick Stephens then I have to seriously question your confidence in yourself.

IMO..Dmo was a bigger loss than BJ....What is causing all the drama is that BJ was a Chatty boy and there are a lot of Chatt people on here that wanted "their boy" to play

That might be the most illegitimate post i've ever read on this board (with the exception of those who frequently get banned). Him being from Chattanooga has nothing to do with people watching him play and hearing his interviews and then making an opinion that he was the best of our three QBs. Go look at the board after his interview and see if everyone of those posters who said he was their frontrunner or favorite was from the Chatt area.

He was playing against the 2nd string defense....Crompton would have looked like a Heisman candidate..again opinions. There have been posters here such as pennvol that said that the wanted him to play because he was from chatty and then put down NS because he was from Texas. Who gives a F where the kid is from as long as he can play and win us games...

He never said he wanted him to play because he was from "chatty"....he said it would be great for someone from Tennessee....as in the state not city.
