Something tells me the head coach is the one who pocketed the money from the game being on ESPN.....which they pay the schools x amount of dollars to play on tv through the 3rd party who helps put the games on tv

According to the founder, who is a former OSU player and coaches the lines and whose son is on the team, the “school” is a rented out space with some computers set up for the kids to take online classes.

When that kid duped the recruiting services into listing him as a 3-star prospect, that was funny, but it was easy to see how someone could pull that off.

This scam is like a giant conspiracy theory. How is it even possible to organize an entire fake football team and dupe a major sports marketing agency and ESPN into televising a game with them in, playing the best high school in the country? This is a scam with dozens of people in it that then fooled dozens of high-level decision makers!

Where did the name "Bishop Sycamore" come from? I can't imagine there has ever been an actual Bishop Sycamore. Is it named for a special tree?

It sounds like a prestigious school to me. I think it’s actually a pretty good random name.

I'm sorry, I can't get with that. These players' health was put at serious risk for no other reason than to prop up a phony school scam. There is nothing fun about that.
