The League average is less than 42k
Guess I was just used to the old Turner Field capacity. Kinda surprising on the average though. Thought it'd be more than that.

Out of curiosity though, I looked up average MLB attendance. Sor far for 2025 it's only 29,000. And that's up from last year. Just seems low. I'm sure over half the season being played during school sessions could be a factor??

I'd also wager that $2B pricetag in Vegas has mafia payouts built in and keeps driving the price up. They have just as much construction control there as they do Illinois, Jersey and NY. Or a variety of other states.

I knew Ty Cobb was from just down the road, Royston Georgia. Guy at work just told me he lived gere in Habersham fir a little while, rented a house here, while building his home. I googled it, and he ain't lying 😆. Useless info, but cool.

  • Louis Prima: With all the great players playing ball right now, how well do you think you would do against today's pitchers?
  • Ty Cobb: Well, I figure against today's pitchers I'd only probably hit about .272
  • Louis Prima: .272? Well that's amazing, because you batted over .400 a... a whole bunch of times. Now tell us all, we'd all like to know, why do you think you'd only hit .272?
  • Ty Cobb: Well, I'm 72 ******* years old you ignorant son of a bitch. Quote from the Movie Cobb

Ty Cobb would have been Norcals idol /////// baseball legend Ty Cobb was known for his love of alcohol, with his drinking habits often discussed in his biography and by other players. While he was a highly successful and physically dominant player, his consumption of alcohol became a defining characteristic of his later life and was noted by contemporaries.
