Per Rivals:

"Now the Vols are taking it to another level. Tennessee has purchased billboard advertisements touting the new era of Volunteers football under Kiffin and promoting the ubiquitously-talented Eric Berry. The images displayed on the billboards will be of both Kiffin and Berry. They will appear throughout the state of Tennessee, metro-Atlanta and South Florida beginning Aug. 1."

This could blow up in his face though... If UT goes 7-5 this and next year the billboards will be largely ignored. Much like the UCLA monopoly ad.

I personally think it's time for a Volnation.com billboard too.

This word ubiquitous, I don't think it means what he thinks it means.

Like those wont get vandalized. Cool idea, money spent foolishly.
Given the height of those billboards, I'm perfectly happy with UT spending the money simply for the chance idiot Florida fans will be placed in peril of a fatal fall when they try to vandalize them.

How would not putting up the billboards make back to back 7-5 seasons any better?

Read it very slowly. The operative words are "this and next year."
