I get so tired of Plaster and that afternoon show. They are not enteraining at all. They do a good job of bringing guests on and interviews but other than that I think they are boring.
The morning show is great due to the diverse personalities they have.

All in all drive home nashville sports radion stinks.

Agreed. The morning show is great, but the afternoon show is what you listen to because nothing else is available. When Plaster is out and it's just Willie and Darrin, the show is better, but it still does not compete with Frank, Mark, and Kevin in the mornings.I do agree with the above in listening to 106.7 the fan in the afternoons is okay at times, but it does have a tendacy to get on my nerves also.

I completely agree. The Wake-Up Zone in the am is really good & the fact that they make fun of the afternoon show guys & regular guests is a riot. The afternoon guys would rather talk baseball first, NFL second, Vandy third. I usually switch over to XM for the ride home in the afternoon.

I liked Plaster's show alot better when Biddle was on with him. Biddle has been around a long time and has alot of good stories. I don't expect a Nashville talk radio host to genuflect to the Vols, so I guess the perceived Spurrier bias does not bother me (really I've never noticed that). I've been in or around this town long enough that I appreciate links to the past and listening to Biddle is one of those links.

The thing with King is if Tennessee performs better than expected next year, he'll be the first to admit he was wrong and he has no problem doing it.... Is he negative, yeah.... But sometimes his honesty about situations can be misconstrued as being negative.... I think he's wrong with his opinion about Kiffin and will gladly gloat when Kiffin out-performs his projection.... You just got to take what he says with a grain of salt a lot like when Small Mike calls in on his show, it's all really for entertainment....

I quit listening to Bill King in 1989 when he said that Eddie Powell would be an All American at Auburn and UT was making a big mistake in missing out on him. Both Eddie and Bill turned out to be duds. Bill is way over loaded in the mouth.

Bill King did go to UT for two years. He is, however, a graduate of Lipscomb (not Belmont).

He, like most others in Nashville ... Plaster, Climer, Biddle, etc. do not typically give UT a favorable spin. Nashville sportswriters and call in shows are pitiful.

Bill King is very informative but does hate UT for some reason. He will attack UT for not beating thier rivals but will not do the same to Georgia when they lose to their top games.

His knowledge of college football nationwide is unnsurpassed. But he puts too much emphasis on talent levels gauged by recruiting rankings. I enjoy his show because he is informative, however he loses credibilty when he gets caught up in his personal grudges.

Bill King is an announcing whore. In days past, when he and Bob Bell broadcast on 1510 from the "old oak panel den", he was even handed, and did not hesitate to give Tennessee its due.

Now that he is on Siriur/XM, his core audience has changed...to play to his present audience, he is more of a "shock" type of pundit, and goes the extra mile to make sure that his national audience cannot accuse him of being a homer.

And...he falls more and more in love with himself daily.

I am glad someone else said that. I thought it was just me, but they do talk nonstop baseball. It is fine in the summer but come late August they need to cut it out.
