at Bear Trace in Crossville!! Wonder why? Source: "The Monster" and then I called and ask....the guy that answered the phone said I am not at liberty to say but I can tell you I met Bill Cowher on Tuesday" then he just laughed :)

Then reports of Kiffin and Haslam playing.....How does Jim Haslam afford all of these green fees?? :eek:lol:

and I found out why we hired a "firm" to help us find a coach....they have no restrictions and Universities have to have permission to talk to a coach under contract!!

Ok, It is well documented that I am an avid and continued supporter of Coach Fulmer. I would rather see him walking the sidelines in Knoxville than anyone else. However, if we have to replace him, I can think of no better candidate than Bill Cowher.

Not that I think it will happen...but...I'd get jazzed about that.

Reports are jim haslam doesn't even play golf. All rumors. Haslam doesn't even own a set of golf clubs.

I've heard the same reports about Haslam not being a golfer either. Rumors are starting to get crazy. I'm just sitting back and waiting on something to happen.

It will be this way for about a month unless someone lets the cat out of the bag. Thats not likely to happen.

i think we won't hear anything until after the conference championships at the earliest. I don't care what all the people say, Gruden's a pipe dream (that I don't want) who is doing too good in the NFL. I don't care about his Jefferson City, TN wife either.

The only way we have an early hire is if Hamilton knows without a doubt that the Kiffin combo is the way to go.

Yeah, gruden isn't coming here. Nice thought, but pipe dream it is.

I bet he was considering coming too until he read this thread.

So, you're a Gator or Bammer? All the competition wants him on the sidelines, too. Don't you know it is improper english to use the word 'coach' and 'Fulmer' together. Coaching is something that Foolmer just flat out cannot do. He has to have vastly superior athletes on the field to be competitive because someone that can 'coach' beats him with less.

"We used the run to set up the punt". Foolmer's explanation why he repeatedly punted on purpose to Bama instead of trying to win the game which resulted in a Vol loss. There's an example of the only kind of coaching the idiot knows how to do.

Cowher is got to be out of the equation. No college experience except for when he played at NC State. So there is no experience.

Gruden only coached here at UT as a grad. asst. and the most he has ever done is be a wide rec. coach at Pitt and Pacific. Not sold on him but would rather have him over Cowher.

Kiffin is my choice. He helped bring in Matt Leinhart, Reggie Bush, Patrick Turner. I'm not saying he was the main reason but he was calling the O plays so I mean he had a say in it. That to me proves he can recruit. He can bring the better staff IMO. Bring on Monte and Orgeron for the D. Kiffin will run the O and my shot in the dark would be to bring back Trooper Taylor!( ok 98% unlikely)

Kiffin is the way IMO

I guess Haslam was driving the cart and carrying the clubs.....

Why would he carry his clubs if he was driving the cart? I hate these internet rumors. :)

BTW - Be careful, some dumb*ss reporters from the Tennessean and North Carolina are reading these rumors.
