Personally, for me, the most enjoyable game ever was the 1998 Florida game in Neyland stadium. In modern histoy, the 1986 Sugar Bowl (after 1985) is the most important. That game propelled Tennessee on the national stage and the decade-and-a-half run through the Majors and Fulmer years.

Can't pick just one.

'85 Auburn game they were ranked #1 with Bo Jackson. Chanting "We Want Bo!" after he left in the 3rd Qtr.

'85 Bama game, T Rob went down, Dale Jones INT, missed FG attempt in last seconds. Crying Bama fans - Great Stuff!

'86 Sugar Bowl - Miami talking trash and not taking us seriously. Ha! 11 sacks (maybe I added a few over the years)

Early '90's Bama game when Peyton whupped their Azz starting on the 1st play - 80 yd TD to Kent. Most satisfying game from start to finish!

'97 Florida game - OT.

'98 FSU National Championship.

'97 Syracuse game in their dome. McNabb was awesome, our D was even better. Came down to last second FG with time running out. First game of the year. Many forget this one, had we lost, no NC that year. My Syracuse buddy is still sore about it claims we paid the ref for the interference call to set up the long game winning FG. Exciting game from start to finish.

This game by far for me. Working for Pratt and Whitney in S. Florida at the time. Unless you were in S. Florida and subject to the homers on the news, you have no idea what kind of disrespect that we got. It wasn't just national, the local people were PISSED that they were playing someone as bad as we were. There we so many closet fans that were giving me crap at work, I almost didn't go in the entire week before Christmas (we were off the week after). My my my, how sweet (pun intended) it was to go in the first day in Jan. That was even better than the Nat Championship game. The NC was a good game. The 86 Sugar Vols was a beat down extraordinaire.

Based on fan reaction in the stadium either the 89' Auburn win or the 98' Florida win. I have been to many Vol football games. The 98' win over Florida was the biggest win IMO. GBO!!!

I know a ton of people will say the NCG but for me...it was UF in '98 & a distant second has to be '98 Arkansas.

I don't know that I will celebrate more after a victory ever again than I did after we beat Florida that year. I SHOULD have been a student then but I opted for *ahem* community college first. (ugh)

Beating Florida State and getting a National Championship was awesome but I was happier after we beat Spurrier than I was beating Bowden.

I agree that the others were more important, but my all time favorite game to be at was Arkansas

That call from the ref has me puzzled also. However; for once, a call went our way. I did see the astro turf move on that play but not sure if it was holding or not.

FSU - winning that championship was the bestest
LSU - the clausen comeback with Riggs punching it into the endzone in OT!
Miami - Fulmer going for it on 4th down before the half!
Florida - no siree no siree
Bama - Clausen sends it to overtime and we win after several overtimes

Just a few of my favorites!
