I thought it would be interesting to hear people's opinions of what they thought the biggest "what if" is in UT history. Since I was born in the year of the SugarVols, my perspective is limited.

My biggest "what if" is; What if Jerry Colquitt never got that career ending knee injury against UCLA?

What if Fulmer never hired Clawsen? Might not have a made a difference, but it's a relevant what if.

I try not to think about that one, too.

What if Chuck Webb and Reggie Cobb would have stayed healthy or stayed out of trouble?

We could start a new thread about all of Arian Foster's "what if he didn't fumble" situations. Seriously, though, what if he didn't fumble against SC in 2005 as he was reaching for the goal line?

what if they would have had instant replay for that jabar gaffney catch at the end of the game that let florida win and the fumble by jamarcus russell? those two still stick with me...

But the downside is, nothing would have changed all that much. We might have won some more games, but the overall result of the season wouldn't be much better.

Both will haunt me for a long time.
