Each day from 8/20 until the Friday before Kickoff (8/29), I'd like to discuss and vote for our favorite plays from each year. Only one can win from each year. On game day, I'll make a new thread combining all the plays VN selected.

Today is 2019. The second year of Pruitt. Horrible start, pretty dang good finish. I'll nominate a couple plays, and you guys help with the rest. After we come to a consensus, I'll update the OP. The post with the most votes (likes/comments/etc) will win.

#1 Jauan Jennings goes Dawg mode on SC for a TD (3 votes)

I’m biased bc I was right above the endzone where Jennings broke a bunch of tackles and scored, so that was exciting. But still I gotta say Bituli on fourth down

My personal twist on this thread is to completely skip the actual season. Instead, I’ll say Cooper Mays signing in December (and then Cade coming back too after that) was the most impactful single moment of the year.
Skipping that season is a disservice to the DAWG, Jauan Jennings. He made that year not be the worst in school history and, for my money, displayed the greatest sheer will of any receiver I’ve ever seen in Orange. Some other good Vols on that team too like Trey Smith, Callaway, Bituli, got a good year out of Warrior. Top 10 pick Darnell Wright was a freshman.

Seems like a lifetime ago. Time was passing slowly during those 15 wilderness seasons.

Things started off bad, but in the grand scheme of things-2019 was a pretty fun season. At least by our wilderness standards.

Jennings was a monster that year. Without him, we would have probably gone 2-10

Considering that, my play of the year was when Jennings stomped on the Vandy player. Was it Chris Rock who said, "I may not support it, but I understand"

I made it to that game. My brother in law and I were in the stands right above where that happened.

I don’t get to attend many games, so when someone mentions a game that I did get to, I have to jump up and say “I was there!” 😂

I envy you then as I was not at the game lol.

That was one of those moments I know I have been disgusted by what happened as soon as he did it, but the best I could muster was a wry smile

can we skip 2020? If not, Henry T Pick 6 in the south carolina game.

You want my "moment" of the 2020 season?

After the Georgia game (we got smacked), they interviewed JG. He made some comment about this one hurting because it was gonna be one of his last chances against those guys-or something to that effect anyway.

The level of despondence I felt hearing that was frightening
