Biggest overreaction on VN

My annual favorite is when a 5th string player "lights it up" in the O&W game and the appropriate reactions on here.

Not the biggest one, but try starting a thread that is nothing bad, with just a players name.

If Max Wray flips from Ohio State to Alabama immediately after we lose a close game to the tide. All of the negavols will insist that he was ours for the taking and that CBJ should be fired on the spot!

Imma go with the annual "Peyton Manning to coach at UT" rumors.

those threads never ever fail to provide quality overreaction

Good chance there will be an overreaction after the O&W NonGame on Saturday.

I'm surprised there hasn't been a big reaction to Butch saying on TV that we don't have enough healthy players to scrimmage.

This board is notorious for overreactions, so I'm curious as to what your vote would be for the scenarios or events that cause the biggest overreactions.

My vote: When we go 3 and out on offense in the first series of the year in the opener, which has happened a few times.

The posts at halftime of the Florida game thread last year speak for themselves. This fan base panics when we get behind early and has no confidence in our staff to make adjustments.

As for what's to come: either Dormady or Guarantano will not make people forget Peyton Manning played here vs Georgia Tech and VN will do it's thing.

Trey Smith Kicked Off...

... the weekend with a cold lemonade.

"Oh my GOD, I bout had a heart attack. Mods please change the title"

"That's not funny, Mods please change thread title"

Any of the past few years during a Florida/UT game, we produce one bad play, and watching VN roll over and lose it's collective minds.

Let's not forget about the panic leading up to the launch of the SEC network where posters were switching cable companies a month prior to the launch.

Upcoming QB play. We will struggle this year because of it and people will be pissed. We have been lucky to have Dobbs make something out of absolutely nothing with his legs.

I think a lot of people are expecting too much out of the 2017 team tbh.

Pretty much the status quo. Every year people let themselves buy into the hype, then gripe about how the season turned out.

Anything and everything involving Lane Kiffin.

Year in and year in out we literally have grown men wringing their hands over the black stripe, what it means on an individual player by player basis. THEN go on to pontificate how useless it is and it's simply a gimmick. <smdh> every time it shows up.

Hands down, any player being around or smoking pot. And the endless repetitive aftermath that follows.
