biggest improvement happens between games 1 and 2

That play would have gone for some yards if not for Kennedy getting beaten like a rented mule.
It would be nice if guarantano had stepped back two steps before throwing the ball. Don't want to throw that ball as a lateral

between week 1 and 2....is what all the wise people have been saying....sooooo I guess this means we have the worst team in TN history on the field. Mean while Cleveland Browns start another quarterback and losing season as we continue to name only Jones as ruining the program each Saturday.

Here’s a pro-tip for you: never ever listen to the pumpers on this site. These same people predicted 9 or 10 wins so clearly their understanding of football is severely lacking.

We're either worse this week on offense or ETSU has a better defense than West Virginia. This is pathetic! We can't freaking keep ETSU out of our backfield!!!

I have said it time and time again. Botch Jones left this program in much, much, much worse shape than Dooley ever thought about. But its not just Botchs fault. Its Haslams fault as well. He set us on this road when he ran Fulmer out of town and preceded to use his influenece to attract nothing but losers to TN. We are slipping further and further behind in the SEC. Haslam doesnt care about putting quality on the field. He has destroyed this once great program. The UT asministration lets him do whatever he wants. It is what it is.

i Think the defense will continue to improve all season long as the youngsters gain experience. The offense is my concern - I’ve seen zero improvement this week despite the drop off in competition— we need to try something different including giving Chryst some snaps at QB. JG may not be the problem, but he hasn’t been the solution either. Sometimes the second guy can provide a spark (as the 2nd team RB did last week)

@bigorangecrush89 I haven't called you or anyone on Volnation.com dumb, but I will bet you an avatar change that Tennessee wins today.

If ETSU wins, I'll change my avatar to anyone of your choosing.

If the Tennessee Volunteers win, you agree to change yours to one of my choosing.

You up for it?

Might as well have some fun with it.

I think avatars are dumb. All due respect, i think UT will actually end up "winning" but people chaffed at the mere possibility earlier this week. I think Pruitt is in over his head a bit. He has had bluechip talent across the board wherever he has been.

How long does the administration continue to not be held accountable? This solution is not as simple as hiring Fulmer as AD.

Yeah, that makes it a different game if all he's used to coaching is teams stacked with mostly 5 stars.

If you do think UT wins, then I can see why you wouldn't want to take that bet since you think avatars are dumb because I'd come up with a doozy for you. LOL.

I'm thinking if you really thought UT would lose (and not just think there's a possibility) you'd take the bet and have nothing to worry about even if you think avatars are dumb because you wouldn't really view it as a risk since you were convinced of the outcome.

I don't disagree with you that there's always that possibility that any team can lose on a given game. I've seen some crazy upsets.

I agree Tennessee hasn't looked as good as most of us would have hoped, but I just don't see Tennessee losing today.

That doesn't mean anything more than they beat a weaker team in a weaker class of football, so I hope no one makes the mistake
of thinking that I'm implying that it means anything.

I was one who called you dumb. My apologies.
No, you called him a troll, and he is. He didnt know and still doesn't know chit. You don't chit and I don't know chit. Nobody does and if they would stop acting like they did, no one would call them dumb.

QB isn't the issue with the offense
JG has played well. Our OL stinks and until that is fixed nobody will be great. I think JG has looked good when given opportunity. JG and the WR's could be very good if given the opportunity

I see TN as having two Game Two's due to the extremity of the disparity this week. That's good; hopefully they will post a similar margin next week.
