I think my biggest disappointment is we seem to be no better this year than we were his first year and we have a ton more talent. The lack of player development is a huge concern because that will never change. I believe this staff has reached its plateau and this may be what we should expect until things change

He can't or doesn't develope players that's what is disheartening, name a player that has grown to be a better player under Butch

I'm sure Jones will have them picking up garbage on campus tomorrow… Or building a house

It shows how much Dobbs' scrambling ability saved plays and entire games in 2015 and 2016.

John Kelly, Josh Dobbs, E. Mosely, Fils-Aimee, Derek Barnett, Vickers, Kongbo, Warrior, Cam Sutton, DKJr, Josh Malone, JuJuan Jennings....just off the top of my head.

You're reaching.

Um...I'm not excusing either this game or Florida, or even Ga Tech, but we are much, much better than 2013. A really bad Florida team beat us by 17 in 2013. We got steam rolled by Oregon early that same year. This year we came away from a game against a Florida team that might be better than 2013 feeling we should have won. Scratch that, KNOWING we should have won.

So...maybe we have plataued, IDK, but we are tremendously better than 2013. That was the year we had two walk ons in the DB 2-deep and another on the DL.

come on....

You lose locker rooms when scrubs play ahead of talent. Butch has recruited well enough to win....but he has no idea how to make personnel decisions.

Nope, those guys are doing it off their own talent and maturity, when this staff gets them to play "their" style they even get on the field after 3-4yrs of coaching

Between Kmac, Phillips, Kongbo and Tuttle, he should have a top d line and they suck.

Having Robertson ought at center shows how bad playing Coleman Thomas the lady 2 years has been.
Jones should have moved to center and Boulware at guard. Thomas is horrible.

The biggest disappointment is the decline from 2015 to 2016. In 2015, every game Tennessee came out ready to play. They were well-prepared and executed very well from the start. Now there were still several questionable coaching decisions in key moments that season, but at least the team was prepared and executed. 2016 and so far this year, the team looked overwhelmed and underprepared every game.

Why leave out Kendrick and Richmond, they aren't good either.

My biggest disappointment was hiring a coach that had no business at Tennessee after firing a coach that had no business at Tennessee.

This all day. We used to blow the game later on after easing up and olaying conservative. Now we just aren't ready and play lackluster football until we have almost no time left.
