about terry bradshaw. he was a dominant qb, a superstar in college. His number was already retired and everything from La. Tech. he then went and played in the 1969 Rice Bowl. I dare anyone that ever meets him to ask him about it.

He got crushed by the fightin' Bucs of ETSU!

:eek:lol: that's nice.....

though i'm sure he just looks at the 4 super bowl rings on the shelf and finds a way to sleep at night....:eek:lol:

nothing could ever take away the pain of losing to a team who doesn't have a football team anymore :p

Ole Miss also had Ron Franklin (ESPN) and Sheppard Smith (FOXNEWS)

I happen to think those Steeler defenses were the reason they were winning. They were all time great.

yeah, the defense did everything....

dont' get me wrong. the defense was the bread and butter and a HUGE part of those teams in the 70's....but it ain't like he was sitting back there like a trent dilfer or something.

the steelers offense was no 49er offense of the 80's mind you....but they held their own just fine.

and he still got the rings.

agreed, but again supporting my argument that surroundings cement a QBs legacy just as much as his / her individual ability
