Big Orange Recruiting Celebration...

First, please don't flame me if this is in the wrong board, I just thought I might get a good answer here.

My question is what can I expect attending the recruiting celebration at the Convention Center. This is the first time I've been able to attend and I'm looking forward to it. Just wondering if any of Volnation that has attended can give me some insight on what exactly to expect.

I went to the one in Memphis last year. After everyone had several drinks and hors d'oeuvres CDD came in and signed several autographs. After the excitement settled down he stood up and gave a little talk. Then he showed a video of clips of all the signees and commented on them a litte bit. Before CDD came in CLT and CJC were there and we got to chat with them a little.

dooley doesn't like to do them and honestly, last year was boring... its obvious he doesn't care for them

I mean you get to hang out with other Vol fans and get a pic and autograph from the coaches if you want. But, Hubbs is doing the one in Memphis this year and I think he will probably be more in depth than CDD.

I heard last week that they were only doing one in Knoxville, not Nashville or Memphis this year? Did that change??

CDD is only doing Knoxville. Memphis Alumni Association is getting Hubbs to come on Thursday night. Its the same as the last 2 years except no coaches.
