It takes a team and leader to get these kind of results. My team and I have been working on this truck since August 1st. It is a “off” the frame project, custom everything. We "tried like heck" to have it ready for bama game but like our season it came up short. Just Like our football coaching situation, sometimes you have to take it down to the frame and start over. It may be painful at first but to get a beautiful project completed that we can all be proud you sometimes have to do the hard work. Rebuilding this truck from a 1980 chevy primered eye sore, to a thing of beauty was tough but look at the final result. I could have just splashed some orange paint on it and not restore it the right way. I could have left old reliable wheels on it but sometimes you have to spend the money for the results you are achieving to acquire. It did cost more than I expected and it will cost us more to win but now I wouldn’t trade UT or this Big Orange Truck for anything. Here is to all VFL’s and future success. IT'S Time!! GOVOLS!!

Well lets just hope DD does as good of a job as you have done. He has taken it off the frame and started rebuilding. If not they may have to get a master builder to come and finish the job. Don't take this the wrong way when I make the comparison. You may equal Dooley as far as building cars and football programs, but people want a FOOSE BUILT CAR and a Gruden type coach. Nothing wrong with what you guys have done its just some can do it better. GBO!!!!!!

That's my point. You have to spend the money to get the best. If we are comparing UT bought my truck and washed it. Spend the money and upgrade. And as far as foos goes, he didn't do one thing we didn't do.

All it is missing is "Gruden's Express" in big white letters on the sides. What about a Rocky Top horn? Maybe an oversized Chucky doll riding shotgun.

Needs a sliding rear window to throw beer cans in the back while you are driving IMO...

Seriously though. Nice truck! And I am Ford guy but that is sweet!

Awesome job - very nice.

Foose does it fast - I've wondered how many man-hrs go into one of those overhaulin shows.

Did y'all do any of the pranks like on the show? :)
