Places below the first paragraph you will see my opinion of what I consider a toss up game to be. Hard to form a good opinion on them right now when we dont know what the teams will look like. Generally, they are about equal and we will have to wait and see what happens to give one team an edge.

Based on a 4 year trend I would say we will lose most of them. But something might happen before the games that would give me the opinion we have a clear edge.

No one is claiming to be a better fan. You just seem to be looking for a fight for no reason. I feel bad for you. Good luck in the "military."

And now we are questioning my service in the "military" huh? Nice.

Ill try again. It is not economically practical for me to purchase season tickets. I am only able to attend one game a year so purchasing season tickets doesnt make much sense to me. Once my "military" obligations are over in the next couple of years, I it will make sense for me to buy season tickets and I hope to begin doing so.

That better? Am I allowed back in the true fan club now?

Didnt know we were playing anything. But yeah, im generally happy all the time, internet chatter doesn't bother me in the slightest little bit, but what do I know, im just in the "military" , its alot different from the real thing.:)

Wasn't a bigger game in Butch's career than the 6-6 Vanderbil game, could have seized momentum in a big game for himself and the program making the Sugar Bowl instead of falling to Music City.

WOW ! You guys can't even enjoy a UT victory. Seriously, why don't most you that can't enjoy a win just move on. You guys are just miserable people. You love living in the past bring up yes two bad losses but we weren't the only team to have upset loses. And ST talking about all the injuries NEB had like we didn't. I would hate to see this thread if we had lost. No winning with you people. Bi tch if we win bi tch more when lose. I love have our D came out and shut they're running game down. Barnett getting the record breaking sack. Dobbs beautiful running and passing. Watching Malone burning their corner back. Awesome game thank you team 120 for a fun game to watch as a VOL FAN!

To you it may be. Anyone with an attitude like yours would say that. So your measuring of what is a big win is different than mine. Every win is big. What kind of person can't enjoy their team winning? my god we got the most miserable fan base in football. Go take up tennis. geesh

I think the debates on this thread can be broken down like this.

Can a Vols fan enjoy the MCB win, but also say that starting a thread titled " Big Game Butch" After a MCB win in a season that included losses to Vandy and USC is a bit of a stretch?

I know that doesnt fit the current two extreme narratives but im willing to guess that is the opinion of most the negative opinions on here.

There's no logical reason to give him a raise or extension soon. We already know nobody wants him. If he gets a raise or extension, it simply means someone wants to make it more difficult to fire him. Just awful, but sadly, not unbelievable.
