Watched BGB right before the 1st half of Tn Tech game loose his composure and respond to the fans booing him. I thought it was hilarious and showed his humanity. I've been a fan since my first game in section NN in 1970. So its not my first rodeo.
He needed to win this game. But I promise you he does not give a rats turd about me or any one elses opinion on this board. No disrespect intended.
Amazing isn't it?!?
The stupidity is shown in the title of this thread and ignoring the fact Nebraska was missing their starting QB and another key offensive player.
Just try to be reasonable and not such emotional twits.
They were a team playing a walk on QB and without their best DB and WR. It is always better to win than to lose.... but don't act like UT won the SEC or something.... like Jones did after the game.
Really? Because we've now seen it for 3 straight years under Jones.... and he hasn't fixed whatever the problem is. Depends. Hurd to his great credit while enduring the ire of many Vol fans has said very little. What little he did say seemed to indicate that Jones lied to him possibly to keep him from transferring.
Yes.
No. For the 2nd consecutive season Jones missed great opportunities to win the East. Dooley never assembled much talent.... but he never underutilized talent the way Jones has either.
Really? Losing to Vandy and USCe is a sign that they're "rebuilding"?
3-0 in bowl wins is every bit as much about matchups as anything else. All 3 of those wins were against the Big 10 West.... not exactly known for elite talent.
I recently jumped to the "just win" side.
The thing that still separates me from the some of them? When we do win, I don't feel the need to make it pathetic or make a bunch of excuses as to why it doesn't really count.
Honestly, can't even come up with a reason why any fan of UT football would.
