Another loser who will be fired in four to five years. Huge disappointment. Kiffin, Strong, Sumlin, anyone but this jerk.

Got the expensive part right. If this is true, it could bankrupt the athletic department.

Currie is in over his head. He got played by the big boys who all expressed great interest in our job. Currie thought he had one of those guys for sure so he mouthed off about the expensive/explosive hire. They all got raises and Currie got left begging for someone to take the job. Did he really think fans would go for that piece of scum Schiano? If they trot him out there, I will NEVER attend another game. I will never give UT a damned dime. I'm ashamed to be a graduate of this school. They are dead to me of they make this hire. I will actively root against them. I know this sounds like a childish rant, but screw Currie, screw Schiano and screw the University of Tennessee if this is how it plays out.

Currie also said that when he made a hire we would hear it from him first. With all the craziness of today, I dont understand why he isnt shutting this crap down. Either come out and announce Schiano is the guy or come out and announce he isn't. Currie has twitter. He can do it without getting out of the recliner. I really dont get this. Whatever comes of Schiano, Currie is the big loser today.

Big? Over 90% of the VN poll disapproves, and nearly all of those posting hate it. Expensive? What could be more expensive than paying millions of dollars for a .500 coach who was on a staff that kept silent about children being raped in their showers? Worse than a total waste. Explosive? You bet. There are millions of decent fans who will wish anyone connected to this hire a trip straight to the lower regions.

VolNation exploded today for sure. I'd rather have an explosive offense than planning to implode Neyland.

Who knows how expensive this debacle may get before its over (reports that we owe Currie's "coach for a minute" his $20 million buyout are surely overblown). Ridiculous!
