Is murder worse than drinking in public? Both are against the law. You seriously cannot distinguish between the severity of an offense??? Any law broken should result in suspension? Even before he's found guilty of a single thing in court?
You have to look at the situation. Jalen Hurd was cited last year for underage drinking because they found beer cans in his car and dorm room. That's against the law. He served whatever punishment the coaches gave him and he probably won't be in any type of trouble again. You can't throw the book at a KID for a one time mistake. Unless it's murder. But that's no different to you I suppose.
Good grief slow down. Comparing drinking to murder???
Underage drinking, 1 positive brush with pot, and other boys will be boys issues should be dealt with in house.
DUI regardless of the substance qualifies as a higher offense. It's a crime that cost many adults their jobs even if the worst doesn't happen in an wreck
College athletes all over the country are suspended for DUIs. I would venture a guess that a very high % of athletes committing such a crime is suspended for some degree of game time.
Cbj is coming off way to soft here unless he is cleared of DUI
Now nowhere have I said that the kid should be dismissed.
