wrong. period.

That's your opinion...The fact of the mater is they are coming to knoxville because it IS a better game...Notre Dame hasn't been relevant for years and Michigan st had a couple of good years and suddenly they are a powerhouse?...Please :eek:lol:

LOL, Lots of butthurt fans over there.

I dont think the fans are as butthurt as the writer.

There are always going to be some zealot fans, screaming anytime they think they were slighted.....I mean, just look around a little. Screaming because a BigTen writer thought a BigTen team should have gotten gameday. Think what an SEC writer will be saying if UT wins this week, and goes into the Bama game undefeated......while GameDay is in East Lansing.

They wont be coming here twice....that much is certain

This isn't an academic exercise.....ESPN is doing what they always do....they are following the ratings. The back stories on this UT/Florida match ups are endless. It was actually Muschamp who encouraged the Vols to talk to Dooley. There is no reason to take anything away from MSU/ND, there is a much bigger storyline in Knoxville this weekend.

believe what you want.

I watch both teams play on a regular basis. I have a bias, but also a tie to both schools. Im looking at it pretty fairly.

He's played 2 games so you probably haven't watched him 'on a regular basis'. He threw 3 pics against Boise and if it wasn't for Bell would have lost you the first game. Was not impressed at all.

I can almost guarantee that will not happen if both teams are undefeated....UT/Bama will beat ANY game MSU has going on that week.

I believe there is a lot of swapping of opinions going on here.

I personally do not think that it is a big deal that MSU -v- ND doesnt get GameDay. I think it should have been out at Stanford -v- USC. And I think if UT wins, it would have had a great chance to go into the Bama game undefeated. And now youve lost the chance to have gameday for that one, because you wont get it twice.

Im not being a homer here, just pointing out that there are other ways to view this.

And MSU is probably a better team at every position but ONE than they were the last 2 years. They are a damn good team.

MSU has michigan that week, so you are probably right. michigan sucks.

EDIT: BUT, they still will not come back for that game because after saturday they will have already been here once.....and you shouldnt be so arrogant to think that they will naturally come back again. THAT is my point.

Two storied SEC programs...undefeated to this point with embattled head coaches....it sells. Too many storylines to ignore.

Im not arguing that. I think it will be a great game, and deserves GameDay. But it is not the only game going that could make an argument for it.

I voted lol..and if they are looking for reasons why they are coming to knoxville its because...It's the SEC....Nobody wants to watch that crap known as big 10 11 12 or whatever its known these days football...The bottomline is, UT and UF are just....BETTER....Period

That is the way in generally is early in the season. The vitriol shown by Vol fans is really in relationship to the polarizing article. It is the author that suggests that TN/Florida are much less deserving.
