He was a bad hire for them from the get go. You brought in a smash mouth run first second and third coach when you had a spread roster waiting for him.

He would’ve needed 8 years to get “his” team in place since not only was he changing the system but it was a complete 180 from what they had. So the AD should’ve known it would take more than just getting his players on the roster. It was gonna take more than 5 years to sell the vision of what his O should be while playing with the players he could manage and the struggle that comes with that.
