Does anyone remember a BI-LO commercial that they had on the Jumbotron at Neyland that they had some plays from games, players around campus, fans...and the soundtrack was Teenage Wasteland from The Who?

That commercial was really cool and used to get me pumped up!

Seriously? Since you've asked this question I will ask one of my own. Does anyone remember the big league chew that was green and had Popeye on the front of it? Or the Dinosour eggs from willy wonka? Those freakin rocked! i can't find either anymore and that makes me sad.

I was just thinking this a couple days ago. They were awesome.

To keep it going, i miss Mondos.

What about the Hugs Jugs? Those tiny juice barrels that came in like crates of 30 that were different flavors..

You know what I always liked???
It was when TGIF's lineup was Full House, Family Matters, Perfect Strangers, and Just the Ten of Us.

Reminds me of the old SNL sketch where Chris Farley would ask famous people if they remembered doing things and then say "that was awesome."

I remember the same commercial, but I thought it was "bittersweet symphony" by the verve... o well, I do know it's not bi-lo anymore, but nevertheless, it got me pumped too! There's a song by The Raconteurs, called "The Switch and the Spur." I wish they would take the bridge from that song and make a commercial:

"any poor souls who trespass against us, whether it be beast or man, shall suffer this bite or be stung dead on site, by those who inhabit this land, for their's is the power and this is their kingdom, as sure as the sun does burn, so enter this path, but heed these four words, "you shall never return."

it was "bittersweet symphony" by the verve at one point and also "clocks" by coldplay. They probably strayed from the coldplay song when all "you know how I know your gay" jokes started coming out about coldplay.

They definitely got the crowd, or at least the student section pumped up. We'd always chant "orange is bi lo" when they came on. I love orange and bi lo, natural combination for me.

They played Coldplay - Clocks which was epic...then I think they switched to the Rolling Stones - Gimme Shelter when I was there

Hell Yes. Clocks was legendary on the big screen. Anyone know what year that was? or have a video of it? It was awesome

They switched...it was Bitter Sweet Symphony at first.
