THE UNIVERSITY OF KENTUCKY PUT 7 PLAYERS IN THE NFL.

Not Alabama. Not Missouri. Not Mississippi, or South Carolina.

I'd say the schools chosen to compare still show they know where UK football stands in the world.

[+] Burton, Keenan WR 6'1" 200 Kentucky Pick 29, Round 4(128) St. Louis Rams

[+] Johnson, Steve WR 6'2" 210 Kentucky Pick 17, Round 7(224) Buffalo Bills

[+] Tamme, Jacob TE 6'4" 232 Kentucky Pick 28, Round 4(127) Indianapolis Colts

[+] Woodson, Andre' QB 6'5" 224 Kentucky Pick 32, Round 6(198) New York Giants

if this means UK football has arrived, Cal must clearly be regurally competing for national championships. Why have i been so negative?

if they had seven players "put in the draft", then wouldnt that mean that they are no longer there, which in turns means their best players are no longer there. which means they still suck...

wOW, thats a joke. I'm not by any means saying that south carolina is a player in the SEC, but for KY fans to say that they are ready compete for National Championships is just plain funny. At least SC beats KY every year for those out there who are going to bash me about Sc not being good either. KY is going to suck this year. No woodson, little, burton, johnson, tamme, or woodyard.

Still not over being banned, eh? Or maybe you're a closet UK fan. You just can't get enough Blue and White. Perhaps you have a man-crush on Rich Brooks.

Get over it. Every team has rabid fans. It's what defines a follower of a team-- fanatical.

Oh, I'm over that. :eek:k: I just like to go back for the laughs. :post-4-1090547912: Since your here, could it be that your a Vols fan incognito? Every team does have rabid fans, but UK has delusional fans.

Thank God Tamme is gone. I hated that guy.

He was a Vol-killer, for sure.

Hate is a pretty strong word. Jacob is actually a pretty good person, a very strong Christian, an excellent student. I don't know anybody that knows him who HATES him. And he landed in a great place at Indianapolis.

I might understand if you hate what he did against the Vols, but hate the man?

In context it really looked like a compliment to me....he was saying he hated what Tamme did to the Vols. It is all water under the bridge now. Where he landed, Tamme has the opportunity to be one of the more successful stories of this years late draftees.

A mediocre class of NFL draftees doesn't negate almost a quarter century of domination at the hands of Tennessee.
