I will be disappointed if it is Bailey but not because I don't like him or think he's talented. He has the least physical talent of the 4. So if he wins it then it means none of the more physically talented guys progressed enough in the mental part of the game to pass him.

The ideal is Milton if he can play consistent and make good decisions.

Well it shocked me . Read most of the post sense I got home trying to find someone else but the guy must of been nuts. Really don't think that will be announced until game week or game time. Hope we now have a coach.

Give me a guy who can sit in the pocket and pick the defense apart and I will be happy as can be. Not sure where the idea comes from that a QB has to run to be good. Does it help with inaccurate QB’s if they can run, sure. Very, very few can run and pass accurately.

Why is it so wrong to feel bad for someone? Do you hate the kid that much that you find it so wrong to feel sorry for him if he doesn't get the job? These kids human beings after all that have worked hard to be where they are I will cheer for whoever get the job because I want to win and if Milton or whoever is the guy then so be it.

It helps ANY QB if they can run.

Honestly, I don't think any of these guys have proven they can sit in the pocket and pick D's apart. Bailey took a lot of "safe" throws last fall but it won't beat good teams.... and didn't. Much like JG early in his career, HB posted "nice numbers" vs UF and TAM that weren't "effective." They didn't result in points or make the game competitive. Any opposing coach will take a QB going 14/21 for 111 yards.

He didn't suggest anything of the sort. He didn't make it personal. He challenged someone who said that THEY would be disappointed if it wasn't Bailey.

I think lousy coaching from Weinke really messed with the guys that were here last year. There’s probably so much in the way of unlearning things that will keep them from having a good shot at starting this year.
