Better than last year

I agree that we are better because we now have a much better QB. That said, I think it's unlikely that we will match last season's record of 10-2. The SEC is better top-to-bottom this year with Oklahoma, Mississippi State and Vanderbilt vastly improved. With away games at Alabama and Florida I think 8-4 or 9-3 will be our high water mark this year.

That's what people are misunderstanding about the "moral victory" people right now. The goal is to be better than the previous year. Despite the D dropping off, they're still more complete of team than last year imo. Just find a way to get 10 wins and win a playoff game. Everyone said 8-4.

I didn't see much daylight between the two teams, except GA running game has always been strong. Still, TN shut it down here and there.

My credit goes to the OL, give them their dues. Gave Joey time that I haven't seen much of in GA games of the past. I see them getting even better this year, and next.

Decisions here or there, CJH & co. put the team in position to win. 4th down TD hurt...a low percentage throw too. Drive down for the field goal and miss. Had em beat twice and didn't do it.

Kirby said they didn't play well. I think he's FoS. His head was on the chopping block and we missed. We beat ourselves several times. We'll get better.

I said 8-5 this year but I believe this team is better than that. We had some conservative play calling and a bonehead move not centering that ball before the kick that cost us that game. The defense got stops and gave us opportunities. We are only going to get better on that side of the ball when we get our starters back. I hate we lost and am claiming any moral victories but we have a very good offense to go with a good defense this year. We will be fine.

We had them beat at least twice and let them off the hook. But it's nice to know this one game doesn't end your chances as in years past. I also think we'll be even better as time moves on, especially getting some starters back. IMO, I thought with a good OL they could be better than 8-5. What I saw tonight was more than that. Much more.
