Yeah when he doesnt have a choice... but having seen Rice in almost every game of his career I know hes great at sticking his hands out there and catching the ball.

:eek:k:

He relies on it too much, that will kill him at the next level.

Rice is definitely better at begging for Pass Interference.

With Tavaris Jackson throwing to Rice and Brees to Meachem, this shouldn't require asking.

You should have read the conversation around that. They were talking about Adrian Peterson being drafted by the Vikes in the first round. I said he would bring much more balance to the offense.

Minnesota has had a good defense and a good duo of running backs in Peterson and Chester Taylor. They'll want to control the clock and therefore won't be passing too frequently. Additionally, the have an unproven rookie QB. That means more running. Additionally, their QB has the ability to scramble, therefore, (you guessed it) even more running. Meachem is in a far better position to succeed. With the departure of Joe Horn, he'll have the opportunity to be another go-to guy for Drew Brees.

Its tough to say; but I picked Rice because he is in a passing offense and he was a big need for them.

I am a little confused on how Minny is a passing offense. With an inexperienced quarterback who is very raw in terms of passing ability I dont think they will throw the ball that much. They have a bruising offensive line led by Hutchinson and McKinnie, thats why they drafted Peterson.

If Rice can jump so much higher, why did Meachem register a 37.5 inch vertical(at campus and combine) while Rice only registered a 35 inch vertical?
