It’s rare we beat Florida. It’s even more rare we beat Florida at their place. Excited about beating them this year at their place and feeling more hype than beating State at their place just shows where we are as a program and, even more so where we have been. It’s not like we beat prime Florida with Meyer or Spurrier at the helm highly ranked. The NIL changes things greatly but the state of Florida is loaded with talent. When they get their next coach, especially if it’s Kiffin, it will be a lot different. Therefore, enjoy this year and most likely next season (if we play them) because it may be another 20 years or longer before they sink to this level. Kick ‘em while they’re down but run before they get up.

I've mellowed a bit over the years. There was a time when I would have been looking for any Gator message board I could find to try and get banned within 5 posts.

Alas, those years are behind me now. Still, with that being said...

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!

Suck it, Gators!!!!!!!!

There....all better now.

Always doom and gloom with you.

Who cares about the future if you can’t even enjoy the present!

We have access to just as much talent as Florida does. Besides- last time they won National Championship they had a LB from North Carolina. A WR/RB from Virginia, and a CB from Maryland. All 5 stars. They recruited nationally same as UGA now and UT now.

With NIL, turn around can be even faster. I remember the Majors era and Fulmer era when our roster was stocked with kids from the state of Florida.

We will only be playing in Gainesville once every 4 years now. So this win was particularly extra sweet because of that. As for down or up, we've not been able to kick them down there regardless, for a very long time. This is actually the only win down there in the last 50 years while they were down. They, were great to average for the other two.

Regional talent isn't as important as it once was with NIL. $$$ is the magnet now. What's the chances of Nico coming to Tenn. without NIL? Because Vandy is knocking at the playoff door (Think about that a minute... Vandy...), it's a whole new paradigm. Don't feel guilty about beating them when they are down. Teams sure had fun with us when those roles were reversed. Still, I think a win like the 2022 Bama win with Saban as coach was way more rewarding. This one... a little revenge and it got the swamp monkey off our backs (finally) and that's about it.

And kids from Tennessee and Georgia.

The more talented team won yesterday.
The more talented team won in 2024, 2022, 2015, 2003, 2001, and 1998.

there were other years we were more talented but still found a way to lose.

There’s no inherent advantages for Florida in recruiting vs what Tennessee has in their own footprint.

Heard this about Napier too....

They are going thru a decade of dysfunction and no one will save them...

But again nice try at dismissing that Heupel now dominates this series now and moving forward

Yeah, wasn't that long ago they were saying the same about us; "better get 'em while ya can"

Well, we've made it (almost all the way) back and they will too. Kif or no.

Poor, little thangs. I almost feel sor....... NOT.

Urban Meyer hasn’t coached there in 15 years. Time for a new narrative.
