After watching the breakfast party (both edited and edited versions) I can honestly say I've never been more entertained by a football coach from UT than that hour + show.

CLK: Guy's a motivator. Guy's cocky and arrogant. Guy's somebody you'd go out a play some ball. Two questions which can only be answered on the field...can he develope talent and can he coach? Given the prior pluses first listed...I'll take one outta two and go with it. He's certainly got his bases covered on the defensive staff.

CMK: You see exactly where CLK gets it. For the players' sake, I hope he's not as intense when he's mad. He may be scarier than CEO if so. I've got no questions to this man's ability.

THE CEO: Just casually observing EO while he was at Ole Miss, you only saw the lunkhead side of this guy. The Hummer ad and so on. Has he opened my eyes...this man's daily flush has more energy and football savvy than just about the last staff combined.

CLT: Wow...this man would excel in sales training seminars. I do not see us keeping him very long because he is destined for a head coach job. Or soon to be opening a car dealership.

CWMG: Seems to be the most low-key guy on the staff, except for our O coordinator...who is he again? Heh. I don't know if its a step up from Slade or not. But the talent that's here and on its way, he's got an easier job.

CEG: This is a guy I see us keeping for awhile. I don't think he quite has the "it" factor of a head coach, but does look as though he is doing what he was born to do and that's making good RB's great.

CJC: With a dozen or so more cases of Red Bull in his system, he could get in the same ring with EO. He wouldn't last more than 10 seconds, but he could get in there. Good energy, appears to be a vast improvement over what was here.

CFW: I think this guy is our Trooper. Very "down" with the guys and looks to relate with the players easily.

What's the impressions of the Vol faithful?

Thanks for the synopsis...

By the way to answer your question about WMG being better than Larry Slade...we could have not filled the position and only have 9 total coaches on the staff and it would have been a tremendous upgrade.

I've tried doing that silverlite thing that it requires but won't work with my computer for some reason.

I've had the same problem with the silverlite thing. I'm no computer expert so I can't help you there, but I could watch the signing day banquet at WLTVs website.

I'm runnin Vista and it plays just fine. There may have been an attachment to dLoad at first but it does great. I watched it initially on WVLT and it had the infamous 'had to cheat and still didn't get him'. I watched it again the next day with a buddy on UTSPORTS and that whole quote was gone. Pretty funny...its like we're in China.

buy a copy of "Meat Market" . It will tell you what kind of recruiting engine Coach O is. the guy who wrote it had unlimited access to the Ole Miss war room meetings, discussions with Coach O etc. Comes across as very energetic, demanding, relentless and very organized. Not the crazy cajun that some would like to have you believe.
