After today as I watched kentucky lose at home to SD, I couldnt help but love it and laugh. Living on the tennessee kentucky border is a great feeling right now as we are one of the top teams in the nation and kentucky keeps falling. I also remember the amazing feeling i had when i heard bama lost to monroe in football this year. So VN what has gave you a better feeling this year? Kentucky bball woes or bama losing to louisiana monroe?

I played four years of baseball at a small private school in KY, so I developed a tremendous amount of respect for the University of Kentucky's athletic program. I have never seen people who love a sport and a team as much as people in KY love basketball and the cats. I am loving the success Coach Pearl has brought to TN, but I kind of feel bad that a traditional powerhouse like KY has fell on such hard times. I want us to beat KY at there best, not when everyone is beating them.

Oh, yeah....I remember the lean years in BBall. It was always sweet to see the UT student section get all over Joe B. Hall at Stokely! And after the domination we've had over them in football, it is a little tough to get emotionally excited about that game (except for this year!)

I hope when we go to Rupp, we run up the score, I know that could be considered bad sportsmanship, but I just want Bruce to drive home the fact that UT is now top dog in the SEC.

As I said in another post, I root for all SEC schools in non-conference play except UK BBall. Their demise is my pleasure.

I asked some of my UK brethern 'in the know', and the word is that the powers that be at UK aren't upset. 'It's just the remnants of Tubby's problems'. Maybe, I guess we'll see. I believe one of Gillespie's recruits has already transfered out of UK...hmmm. I do not gloat TOO much as having lived here for the past 15 yrs, the Big Orange hasn't had too much to gloat about when it comes to UK. I hope for things to continue to get better for UT b-ball!

From what I have heard from a uk manager, It is all about the players. It seems that only patterson and meaks are buyin into the new system and this is why they are failing. Also we dont need 2 call off the dogs after the 101-40 game under wade houston. What goes around comes around
