Better Call Saul

Pretty crazy episode. I thought they would work some legal angle, but instead it all hinged on the ability to expose Chuck's insanity. Bringing in the wife, the battery plant.
All that considered, Jimmy did exactly what Chuck suspected and yet I find myself cheering for the crook.

Chuck is a d-bag, and deserves to be exposed. Jimmy took care of him through his crackpot stage and yet Chuck continues to want to bring him down, merely because he's still butthurt that Jimmy was able to make a lawyer out of himself.

That and Jimmy doctored Chucks work to make him look incompetent.

Man, I'd say series. They have really played of Chuck's "condition" since season 1 episode 1.
His CONDISHON is controlled deeply by his vessel. He will fade away and classify himself as obsolete! Obsolete! Delete! Delete! Delete!

Man I hope someone gets that reference.

Chicken and egg thing. Chuck resented Jimmy his whole life but always bailed him out of his jams. Jimmy finally did something admirable and his older brother resented his lifelong narrative being compromised...and sabotaged him catching on at HH&M. Chuck even braved his "condition" to swoop business away from Kim...all to spite Jimmy.

It's fun watching Jimmy work. He knows Chucks condition is a mental thing. Planting a battery exposed that.

He was just sneaky enough to set Chuck off. He didn't force Chuck into saying anything he didn't want to or twist his words. Chuck was bested by Jimmy in a courtroom and lost it. He probably never thought that would ever happen.

The best detail of that entire episode may have been Chuck practicing to be a human for the hearing. Dude is a sociopath.

The show is just so well-written and acted it's just sad to watch other shows afterward. Like I compare this to TWD and there is just no comparison to be made. Better Call Saul is excellent in every way to me, even the episodes (like a couple back) that were slow, they set up what the story is and I appreciate the time and effort it takes to do so. The best TV shows to me are those that are patient with the story. Vince and Peter are masters of that technique.

I'm excited about tonight. I hope we get a Mike episode.

I think it'll be more Mike oriented. He was barely on the show at all last week, if any. I know nacho will be a big character as wells

That commercial was hilarious.

Another great introduction with Lydia, and a nice tease that we were possibly about to see the stroke that put Hector in his wheelchair, plus the foreshadowing that Nacho may help put him there.

Also I wonder if the "new guy" Krazy 8 was talking about is someone we know.

Like his cousin......... or cousin's friend?

man, this show is really great. it's awesome that they're setting the back stories from breaking bad. I think the development is really nice. too bad they can't do 2 episodes a week. it's become my favorite show. if the breaking bad stars don't make cameos, they're idiots.
