Marcus Nash
Maurice Staley
Scott Pfeiffer (TE)

1997:
Joey Kent
Marcus Nash
Jeremaine Copeland

i also know we had some good ones in the early '90s with Pickens, Alvin Harper, & Craig Faulkner but i was too young to know if/when they played together.

Starts with Richmond Flowers (60s) and Stanley Morgan (70s).

Morgan still holds all-purpose yards record at Tennessee (4,642).

I could be wrong, but I think Tinsley was a senior in 2003. It seems like he came in in 2000. Did he redshirt at some point? I think 2003 was pretty thin at WR. Didn't we have to move Mark Jones?

I remember seeing Tinsley play in 2004. I remember because 2004 was the first year I really watched Tennessee football.

I'm pretty sure he did.

All I remember from Tinsley was running the occasional reverse, and or running five yard out routes. I believe being a RB first may have meant he wasn't quite as fast as other recievers and was given crappy dink routes. That may be why some are not so high on him.

I remember seeing the reverse for a touchdown at Miami in 2003 but I don't remember him being a big part of the offense in 2004. It seemed like Tony Brown, CJ Fayton, and Chris Hannon were the top receivers on that team.

Just went back and looked at some stats. Tinsley only caught 9 passes in 2004 and Robert Meachem, Jayson Swain, Bret Smith, Brown, Hannon, and Fayton all had better numbers than him.

If you mean players from drafted into the NFL from each team, it isn't even close.

Guess again. LSU placed more players in the NFL off their roster than we did, placed more long-term players in the NFL off their roster than we did, and placed more starters in the NFL than our 2001 roster did.

Absolutely right. Tennessee had the better talent

Based on what? Recruiting rankings had their players higher; coaches and the media put their players higher on all-SEC lists after the season; NFL scouts graded them higher; NFL GMs had them higher; and NFL coaches had them higher.

We drafted a ridiculous amount of players from 2001-2004, MUCH more than LSU. 2001 NFL draft LSU did not even have a player drafted until round 6. Check your sources again.

You are correct. Tinsley, Davis, Houston, and Keldric Williams (I think) were all 2001. For some reason, I thought Tinsley was 2000.
