Best WR ever at UT

I know he had a decent NFL career, but I don't think Anthony Morgan was ever the leading receiver at UT. In fact, I'm not sure he even started.

When Morgan is mentioned, I assume people mean Stanley not Anthony.

Meachem has gotta be top 5.. his one year as a junior was the best year out of any WR's that came through UT

Kent, Price, McGee, Pickens and Harper in no particular order.

Gault was, is and forever will be the best return man to ever wear a Tennessee jersey. But he wasn't the greatest WR ever here.

He'll never be mentioned with the likes of all these that have been mentioned but JJ McKleski (Ican never remember how to spell his name!) was one of my favorites, he always seemed to be the one who picked up the 1st down to keep drives alive.

And doesn't deserved to mentioned in this conversation.

Gault was a pretty damn good WR. But he can't compare with some of the greats here.
Cedrick Wilson and Jermaine Copeland were a couple more good UT rcvrs but, nowhere near Price, Kent, and Nash..Although I would be willing to be that Wilson is ranked among the top 5 in a couple UT rcving stats...

Leonard Scot was a good return man to...

I only remember him having one good return. He seemed to always get tackled at the 20. He was supposed to be the fastest man in college football but wasn't much of a football player. He had the worst hands that I have ever seen by a receiver at UT. Yes, that includes Austin Rogers.

I guess I like Gault bec he is some of my earliest memories of being excited to watch the orange and white as a youngster with my dad.

You're probably right about Wilson.

There have been a lot of good WRs here.

Not only was Pickens the best WR, he is in the top 5 of best athletes at UT

Pickens moved over to DB at the end of the year, mostly because he was a ball hawk, and had the best insticts of any player on that team.
