My best experience:

2004 against Florida. I've never heard anything as loud as when Wilhoit made the 50-yarder. The whole stadium exploded and my friend almost threw me down the bleachers.

My worst experience:

2006 against LSU. Watching as Jamarcus Russell put together the game winning drive as we dropped back in the famous "Mustang" package. Frustration and anger.

my worst experience was UGA in '05. Watching that game was when it fully set in that it wasn't just that wasn't good, but that they were awful.

best experience would probably have been the Alabama game in 98.

cal 06 was just fun on every level for me, i had friends in town from high school who knew nothing about the vol experience and that game blew them away and is probably the best that the vols played during my time as a student.

worst...

i remember by the time we got to Vanderbilt, there was nothing to do but laugh about it all. Same with Wyoming last year. I was stunned how little either of those two losses affected me.

My two worst experiences:

The Jabar Gafney "catch" to seal the deal for UF.

And

The UGA "hobnail boot" touchdown that beat UT. Man that was a bad day!

My best was in '03 Tennessee vs Marshall jsut because it was my first game at Neyland

best - bama 82

Worst- Any 86 home game.

The defense allowing qb Don Smith looking like jamelle holloway for Miss state

Army blocking a punt for a win

Alabama running 1000 yards on the toss sweep.

My best: Stoerner Stumble/T. Henry (pound the rock) clinic after. Prettiest fireworks I've ever seen.

My worst: My face is still hurting from the "Hobnail Boot" I had just gotten done yelling at a Georgia fan to "Get the hell outta Neyland" from the previous 64 yard touchdown by Stephens. As soon as I got back to my seat, UGA had scored to win the game.

Kill me.

Worst - tie bama '90, florida '02 (raining, we fumbled 3 plays in a row end of first half)

Best - florida '98, 5 years of pent up frustration released, "No SIR-EEE!!!!"

Worst was LSU in 2006. I was on my honeymoon (of sorts) and my wife (who has watched every televised game possible) had never seen a UT game live.

That was her first in-the-stadium experience. Terrible. Simply terrible.

Best: '99 Notre Dame. It was my first UT game and something I'll never forget. I just had a great time all around, and we won big.

Worst: UGA '05. The worst part was there were 3 UGA girls (ugly as hell) sitting directly behind my friends and I who knew absolutely nothing about football but were talking smack the entire time. We tried to ignore them for the most part. But to factor in that that game was also extremely frustrating because our D was playing unbelievably and our O couldn't gain a yard in it were 11 on 5, that just made it even worse.

God I hate those girls still. Rude and stupid...worst combination ever.

This is easy for me.

Best Experience:
2004 we beat the gators on a last second field goal and I hugged people I never met.

Worst Experience:
2008 the gators whipped our arse all over the field after I paid really good money for the tickets I got. I think I yelled fire Fulmer a 100 times.

Best for me is '04 Florida hands down. The worst for me is probably the '02 Miami game for homecoming. I didn't make it to any games last season so that game still stands as the worst beating I have ever seen UT take live, and the only time I have gone to a game KNOWING that Tennessee had no chance to win.

Best: 07 South Carolina just because I had from row seats and my friends and I were painted up in 42 degree weather because that game I'm famous in my little home town for being on ESPN and now every drink you had at Neyland this past season had my face on it.

Worst: 08 Florida again I had front row seats to watch the offense leave the D out to dry.

Needless to say both of these games gave me 2 of my favorite pics of myself ever. KNS got a pic of me with around 2 minutes left in the UF game. My friends and I just kept making up captions my favorite 2 were "This UT student stuck it out like the Captain of the Titanic" and "This UT student looks like he is about to climb to the top and jump of the top row of Neyland"

Worst: lying on the 50 yard line at 3am drinking a cold one. Ended up in back of patrol car...

Best: every other time except the one mentioned above

I was at the '06 Miami game as a first date with a girl.... there was no second date lol.

My last 4 Neyland games:
Alabama '08- shoot me
Florida '08- shoot me
LSU '06- shoot me
Air Force '06- stab me in the neck with a soldering iron

Best: 98 OT win over UF, when they blow an easy FG. We partied hard in Kville all night long. I barely remember what I did that night.

Worst: Loss to UGA in 2001--I lost $100 in a bet with an obnoxious UGA fan at our tailgate party.

That game really was a disappointment, simply because everyone was still so pumped from the week before against Cal. Talk about a reality check. I got extra tickets to that game and gave them to my friends' dad who has been a Vol fan his whole life, but had never been to a game. Thank goodness we at least pulled out the win.

Worst is the year Clausen fumbled all those snaps against Florida in the rain. also losing to Florida 31-0 whatever year that was.

Best - 08 Florida as it was my boys' first time to see Florida play live
Worst - 98 Florida game...last game that Cooper Collins kicked for UF..wonder why?? :rolleyes:
