Forget how high they land... but what TEAM do they go to?

What would be the best teams for our players to shine?

What would be the worst?

What team will give them the most opportunities? Which team will probably shelf them?

Worst case: Cleveland Browns

Best case: anyone but the Cleveland Browns

With your response, I declare thee thread over as this will not be topped.

To answer the OP's question....

Kamara would be really good in New Orleans or Tampa. New Orleans/Tampa both have early down grinders that will leave Kamara in a Tevin Coleman type role right off the bat.

Dobbs would be good in New Orleans. Veteran to learn from, a good offensive coach, fast track, passing scheme that may hide some deep accuracy issues

Sutton - Titans

Barnett - Cowboys. OK, I had to do that!

Another best case scenario..

Malone - Anywhere but Chicago and Dallas. A guy that is raw doesn't need those 2 coaches.

Another worst case scenario

Having Travis Henry setting you up with women

I agree that Dobbs would be a good fit for Saints but they just drafted Garret Grayson last year and have Chase Daniel. It would be harder for Dobbs to get significant reps

Kalmara going to Giants, GB, or Indy would be best case IMO.

Worst would be Dallas, TITANS, Miami, Steelers, Chargers, and LA

Malone: if he ends up on a team with a quality quarterback like the Raiders, Colts, Packers, Patriots, or Steelers he could make an eventual impact as a quality #2 in the league. If he doesn't, I could see him take a fairly similar path as Justin Hunter in the NFL and bounce around as a #4 or #5 for a few years.

Dobbs: needs a team with a good mentor, older QB, solid offensive line. Honestly, a team like the Steelers would be a great fit for Josh. The Seahawks, Panthers, Titans, Cowboys are decent fits as well despite the younger QBs in front of him, to at least go somewhere as a capable backup where the offense has been used to a mobile QB. Those teams also generally have had good or at least "capable" offensive lines lately.

Kamara: I like teams like the Packers, Bucs, Panthers, Vikings, or Ravens for his services. Teams with young or unproven QB's like the Rams, 49ers, Eagles, Jets would also be pretty good fits to help take the pressure off of those guys, but because of the other more pressing needs on those teams I don't see them being able to take an APB like Alvin in the 1st/2nd Round.

Barnett: I think the Saints are a good fit for DB, but I also think the Cardinals, Bengals, and the Colts are not bad options for him either.

Sutton: I personally wouldn't mind if the Titans took him in the 3rd round or so, but teams like the Texans, Patriots, Steelers, and Eagles are options, too.

Maybin: He'll have an uphill route to become a starter anywhere, but teams like the Falcons, Raiders, Broncos, Panthers, and Bucs would be pretty good fits in my opinion for special teams play and the ability to grow into a starter.

I doubt Josh has to worry about competition from Grayson and Daniel. He would beat them out easily.

Maybe but they drafted Grayson in 3rd round 2 years ago. If they draft Dobbs in 3rd or higher, he will have a chance.

Higher the draft, the more time a team will invest in that player.

I have a feeling Saints will want to try out Grayson before they draft another QB

I hate that the first team that comes to mind is always New England. They always get the most out of star players and under the radar players.

I think Dobbs ends up on Pittsburgh. Mike Tomlin saw his pro day workout and they had a visit with at their facility this week. Big Ben also just announced today he's coming back for next year. This could be a Brett Favre type situation where Big Ben could retire at anytime so I could see them wanting to be prepared with an Aaron Rodgers.

I get Dobbs is the guy they target.

Love Josh, but he's no Aaron Rodgers, not by a country mile. He's gonna be a project early on. Hopefully he develops and gets his shot 2-3 years in with a solid organization.

Nobody thought Aaron Rodgers was Aaron Rodgers by a country mile either when he was getting drafted. If they did he wouldn't have fallen to 25th overall in a draft that had Alex Smith go 1st overall.

The 49ers almost took Rodgers 1st ovr. People thought Aaron Rodgers was going to be a franchise QB hence first round.

That's because Aaron Rodgers had a lot to work on with his mechanics and fundamentals coming out of college.

If he'd been forced into starting as a rookie, there's a decent chance he may never have developed into the QB he is today.

But they didn't. And no one else did for 24 picks.

And lets not act like they chose John Elway ahead of him. They picked freaking Alex Smith who has been the definition of mediocrity. And the issue here is not about whether or not teams felt Aaron Rodgers had franchise QB potential. The issue is they didn't see him becoming the all-time great that he has turned out to be.

I know one guy who did. Scouts thought Smith was the next Steve Young.

It was very surprising and one of the top stories of the draft that Rodgers went that low. That being said, he was still a first round, top 25 pick. Josh isn't likely to go anywhere until the 4th round at the earliest imho.

Still hanging on to that delusion I see. I thought you were Mr. Facts and data? Mel Kiper, Todd McShay, and your favorite Matt Miller of Bleacher Report are all now saying Dobbs goes by the 3rd round.
