I agree with Peyton but Chuck Webb was pretty good also.

Chuck is one of my all-time favorite Vols but i think he was a red shirt...may be wrong.

However, his counterpart Reggie Cobb was impressive as a freshman.

Jamal Lewis was likely the best of them all though, IMO.

Webb and Pickens were redshirted in 88. Webb and Cobb probably had the best RS freshman seasons.

Kelly Washington would get some votes but he was 22 years old at the time. So I’ll try to keep it apples to apples.

I’d have to go with Berry and Lewis, in that order. Webb was redshirted and Holloway wasn’t eligible. So I guess we’ll never know.
