Best view in Neyland??

I don't have the traffic problem at all anymore... I've decided to park so far away (western ave) that I don't have to deal with it.. I'd rather walk an extra half mile or so than sit in that bs around the fort/17th..

I've been on that plan since school. Long legs help. :)

I thought this was gonna be another one of those threads where someone was begging to get free tickets or a free ride to the game...

There are no bad seats in Neyland. That's true. There are some that are better. For the most part, the sidelines offer a better view and perspective. Don't get too low (1 thru 4) or you can be blocked by the players. The "walkway" on the west is row 20 as I recall and that puts people walking in front of you all the time. In the north end I think it is row 17 and don't know about the south. West sideline avoids the sun in the eyes (and sunburn). South end is an atmosphere all its own. There can be issues with the jumbotron which is behind you. North end is looking directly at the jumbotron. There are concessions and bathrooms throughout the stadium. The stadium suites and the TN Terrace (upper west) are sterile environments that isolate you from the common folks. Don't subject your daughter to those people!

I think she will be somewhat bored so I would suggest the best seat for you..

I like my season tickets in z11 row 42 under the over hang but a clear view of the Jumbo-tron....although you need to sit in a row 7-8 to get close to the action....its different...but exciting

I like Y9 row 30. The jumbo tron straight ahead & great view of the T.

This! My season tickets were in Y9 row 20 and were awesome!! I took my little sister one game and we walked down to the tunnel as the players were leaving and they threw up all the gloves, she got two (both right hand!! :eek:lol:)

Love sitting over there!

My season ticket is XX1 and I love it. I prefer being up high to get a great view of the field, and I'm facing the T so I get a great view of the half-time performances and POTS. I can also see the jumbo tron well

I'm in PP and it's not a bad seat. If you can find it, 1st row on the corner of the upper deck offers plenty of space and that's a plus. If I wanted to spend the extra money, I'd love to go over in the yy or zz sections for the chairback seats. It also has an awesome jumbotron view.

THIS...OP, I think you're waaaaay over-thinking this on behalf of your daughter. She'll most likely enjoy the pre-game stuff and hanging out with you more than the game. Just enjoy the time with your daughter and don't worry about the small stuff.

Have fun!

I take a 2 & 4 year old.
It sure is nice to be under cover for rain and not looking into the sun is a plus.

We are usually in V row 52. If you go farther up, the Jumbotron is hard to see. If you go too far down, you can get rained on.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I will check out all the different areas and pick the best option available and take plenty of pictures to remember the good times. People say that she is too young and won't remember it but I still remember a lot from age 4 and up so I want it to be a good memory and just enjoy the day. Would have loved to seen a game with my father so these times will be cherished...

I liked K quite a bit but as long as you're not around some blue hairs who get pissed when you stand up, mid field about 30 rows up is an incredible view

Take them!

Most of the regrets we have are for the things we Didn't do....

Not ALL of them mind you, but most.
