While I know any seat inside Neyland are good seats, I am looking for the best seat in the house for me and my 4 year old daughter. It will be her first game and I am training her right. I never had the luxury of going to UT games with my father when I was young because he was killed in a car accident when I was 4. So, I want to give my little girl something I never had and want to teach her all about the privilege of being a Tennessee Volunteer and enjoying the day with her dad.

I would love some opinions of just what seats would give her and I the best view. I don't really want to sit way up top because she is scared of heights. I personally have sat all over Neyland except the 50 yard line and none had bad views. I have sat in the end zone seats and really enjoyed it only bad part is when team is on other end but you can see the holes open up and the routes develop but that is just my opinion.

I want her first experience to be the best ever but I think just going with her dad and seeing the big stadium will make her day. However, I want her to be able to see good and not be in the middle of a row but at the ends so it would be easier for her to go for bathroom breaks.I would think a good view of the Jumbo Tron would be a must have for her as it would probably mezmorize her. Hmmmm, probably an end seat, and probably not an upper deck seat. I just want the opinions of the different sections and their views and what they have to offer.. Where from a child's perspective would be the best seat in the house?

So Ladies & Gentlemen, I welcome your opinions and suggestions as I want this to be very special for her. I know we fuss and get mad because our coach says or does dumb things or a player makes a bad play causing us to lose a game BUT you know what going with your daughter and just enjoying the game day activities and the smell of the smokey mountain air and seeing the smile on her face is what it is all about. I find myself losing that thought given recent struggles of the team but I am damn proud to teach my little girl about the traditions and festivities that come with being a Tennessee Volunteer.

I love my daughter more than life itself and we have endured hard times and I just want her to enjoy a great day of Football regardless of the outcome of the game we will have enjoyed everything else UT has to offer.

I will stop writing and sit back and listen. Maybe someone has had this experience and think back to that time and what you enjoyed most about the day besides UT winning of course :) God Bless Tennessee.. One of the more beautiful states in the nation and I am proud to live in it. So for "Dadslilvol" my daughter and I thank you in advance for suggestions not only to seating but to some gameday activities that I may not be aware of. I got the Vol walk on the check list but what else???

50 yard line about 20-30 rows up from the bottom. Don't make the mistake of buying too close to the field because you can't see the field nearly as well.

When I went to the Florida game, it was my wife's first game. We sat in Section X1 on Row 37 Seats 25/26 (right by the aisle) and she said that I couldn't have picked better seats. We were high enough to see the field good and had a great view of the jumbo tron, but weren't so high that the players looked like ants. She said she could easily read the players numbers. Also, you will see the T open up in front of you as the Vols run onto the field. I had a great experience in these seats and would sit here again.

Oh and the Virtual Neyland website doesn't do it justice if you are judging the view from those seats. The website makes it look further away than it actually is.

YMMV but IMO bottom row upper deck, 50 yard line

Next would be about 40 rows up lower deck

Just know that seat 1 at directly 50 yard line isnt necessarily an aisle seat. Dooleys first year against Florida I thought I was getting an awesome seat then was sandwiched between 2 drunks. View of game was still awesome.

I got Section Y8 season tickets. 2 rows under the overhang. Great view of the jumbotron. Dry if it rains. There for sale this week. Daughter has a rodeo so I can't go.

I've sat in the first row of yy9 more than anywhere else and they are great seats. I say in section W row 36 for the UF game and the view was excellent also.

I took my 4 year old girl to one last year. She loved the seats in row 3 upperdeck section zz14. Also loved the ride to the stadium on the bus. But we never ride it without her.

Right now??? I'd say in front of tv on couch. So, you can change channel when doing bad. You wouldn't have to face the traffic like I had to after fla game.

As a former student who sat in many places and season ticket holder in Section W (10 yard line), I would say the 25 yard line about 30 rows up is my favorite. If you are on the 50, you can't see either goal line very well. West side is normally better since you are not looking into the sun on a day game. Section V or S.

I loved my seats in section T about 40 rows up. You really can't go wrong in Neyland Stadium, though. Incredible place to watch a game.

I don't have the traffic problem at all anymore... I've decided to park so far away (western ave) that I don't have to deal with it.. I'd rather walk an extra half mile or so than sit in that bs around the fort/17th..
