Roe v Wade will be overturned. Texas/MS/Alabama will challenge it. Lots of states will have 20 or 16 week abortion bans
everyone freaking out about abortion as usual and as usual nothing will change
And still far more decent, honest, moral, and intelligent than our current POTUS. Go figure.
Not sure how soon, but I think theres a reasonable chance its going to happen.
.
I think we should focus on discouraging abortion as a means of birth control and encouraging other methods.
What little I've read and heard about Kavanaugh since last night, he seems like a standard center-right, small c conservative. And I don't mean that as an insult, I'm surprised Trump managed to pick someone that isn't insane.
Only concerns I have so far are his views on executive power. The Executive branch has too much leeway as it is, he/she doesn't need added leniency. And I'm not a fan of his views on investigations into the executive. Kind of a red flag considering Trump is under investigation.
The hearings should be a dumpster fire to behold for both sides.
It should be obvious.
That quoted text speaks generally to waiting on civil or criminal cases until he's out of office.
I can see it if it's a lawsuit over a contract. Or a criminal investigation for something relatively pretty.
But what if the point of the criminal investigation is to determine whether the person was elected as the beneficiary of a crime?
When that is the issue then it can't wait until after he leaves because the consequence should be that he is removed from office.
